After another lengthy amount of time we are back and talking more crap than ever. We ramble from Barbie dolls to our top 25 comic characters and so on. We also check out the Watchmen trailer, Dark Knights broken records, and Robert Kirkman's little promotion.

We also introduce our new quiz show segment which tests us and gives you the opportunity to win a sketch from a cast member of your choice.

We had another full week here at Capes and Tights. We mourned the passing of Michael Turner, talked a bit about the Superboy/Superman issue with the Siegels that none of us are really informed about. We move on from there to some movie news with the Wanted totals and the rumor that the Watchmen trailer will be attached to Dark Knight.

Yet another episode has arrived. I feel like we're cranking episodes out lately, which I guess we are. It's just that we're playing catch up. We have a little different format this week. Joining us instead of Debbie is long time board member Suzanne.We all chatted with her for the first time this week and it was a pleasure. She brought a bit of comic knowledge that we are normally lacking.

This week instead of comic reviews for the previous week, we'll be voicing our choices for the Top 5 Trades out of our collections. They range from Early Justice League stuff to Alias to 90's X-men.

And we're back!

After nearly two weeks of no shows we're back with two shows this week. Episode 10 is gonna deal with the X-Men from 2000. We were supposed to do Batman, but we changed it up at the last minute. We all had plenty to say about this one though. From it's flaws to it's perfections we really have X-Men to thank for the success of Marvel's movie franchise. If it had bombed would we have had Iron Man this year? So pop the movie in or just listen in on us talking out of our asses. Either way hope you enjoy it.

We had a random discussion filled show this episode. Our opening could quite possibly be our longest to date. Our mailbag may have contributed to that. We received another another thought provoking question from Linda Gomez.

We also have a special segment with Chris and Ashlee where they discuss many a fashion faux pas in the Superhero world. I present to you...Fashion Puleasuh.

In our News segment we discuss a little Watchmen news, Indy's box office weekend, SI/FC book totals, new clips from the Hulk, Heroes scheduled return, and a Spidey rumor that was circulating.

In this episode's news segment we discuss some movie news concerning DC's Green Arrow and Disney's Prince of Persia. One leaves DK and I excited the other not so much. We wrap up the segment by making another round of box office predictions. This time on Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which leads us into a heated discussion as to which Indy movie is really leader of the pack.

Well we're back to our regular format after the movie commentary episode for this month. Joining again is our newest cast member Ashlee, whose we've decided will soon battle Debbie via gladiatorial combat for the title of queen of the podcast. It shall be a bloodbath, of that we are sure.

Capes and Tights Episode 6

On the first Wednesday of every month we'll be doing commentary for a comic book movie. On our inaugural episode we watched Superman:The Movie. On that episode we made the mistake of doing a full review show BEFORE we watch a 2 and a half hour movie. Needless to say we learned our lesson. This week we'll be watching Spider-Man from 2002. Listen in as Ashlee drools over a spider bitten Peter Parker and while the rest of us question Kirsten Dunst's existence. So there will be no comic reviews this episode, which makes this entirely commentary. So get your copy playing and listen in with us. We'll be back next week with a review show for this week's comics as the previous week's.

Well we're back with our full cast plus one. Ashlee joined us the week in our discussions. It worked out so well she may become a regular feature this summer.

This week we went over the preview for DC Universe #0, the new Incredible Hulk trailer, as well as made our predictions about Iron Man's opening weekend.

This week we talk a little more about Batman:Brave and the Bold and the Grant Morrison interview over at Newsarama. Some of us are more excited about Final Crisis than others.

From last week's episode we have a returning Stann, who brings us an informed Smallville recap to catch you up before it starts back up.

We move on from there to review Titans #1, Wolverine #64, Amazing Spider-Man #556, and Batman Death Mask #1. Then provide you with our recommendations for the week and the titles we're looking forward to for next week.
